He didn’t seem to want to go up even if I started the steps and tried to assure him I’d be behind him. I tried to figure out what to do but while I was thinking he put his paw on one of the steps accidentally lifted the traction rugs my parents installed and whimpered a bit before pulling back his paw. I then decided to just lift him up and carry him, but I could still tell he didn’t love this cause he was breathing heavy while I did it. It was a total disaster that I cause and it comes only a day after he slipped down two stairs cause of a dumb decision I made and him slipping on to his bum while I was trying to apply paw pad lotion to his back foot. I keep accidentally making bad decisions and while he seems fine right now, walking without a limp and happy look on his face, I feel awful for what I did.
